Chem 4491 Participates at SOUSCC

成人大片’s Faculty of Science and Department of Chemistry were well represented at the 54th Southwestern Ontario Undergraduate Student Chemistry Conference (54th SOUSCC) hosted by the Department of Chemical and Physical Sciences at University of Toronto Mississauga on March 21, 2026. The event, which originated at Western in 1973, brings together undergraduate students completing their thesis research projects from universities across the province in a conference format. This year there were 177 participants from 14 universities (Waterloo, McMaster, Windsor, York, Trent, UofT St. George/Mississauga/Scarborough, 成人大片, Queens, Ottawa, Guelph, Royal Military College of Canada, Ontario Tech University, TMU). All Chem 4491: Chemical Research Discovery and Scientific Communication students participated (pictured below) with registration fees generously covered by the department as part of the course’s experience. Note in the photo that the 成人大片 geese seemed to have accompanied the group for support.

The full day conference started with a keynote address and then had 16 sessions in four parallel streams and a poster session. The day ended with a mixer, banquet and awards ceremony. While all participants gave excellent presentations six students from 成人大片 were identified as Award Winners. They are pictured below.
