Deborah Chiang is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a New York State Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. She received a Master Degree in Social Work, from St. Louis University in Missouri in 1976 and the area of her concentration for her master program was in early childhood development. For the past 30 years, she has been working in the mental health and substance abuse fields. Her work experience includes work in a number of inpatient mental health treatment facilities, supervisor in Rockland County Case Management Program, supervisor in a substance abuse inpatient rehab treatment program and a psychotherapist for many years.

Deborah Chiang is a member of National Association of Social Workers.  She is also certified as a Qualified Clinical Social Worker as well as a Diplomat Social Worker by the National Association of Social Workers organization.  A naturalized U. S. Citizen, Deborah Chiang was born and raised in Taiwan and is very familiar with Asian culture and its healing philosophy.  She also speaks both Mandarin and Taiwanese fluently.
