Course description:

Introduction to basic concepts and methods of modern linguistics. Topics include articulatory and acoustic phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics.

This course is a prerequisite for subsequent linguistics courses in the Department of Anthropology and/or the Linguistics program.
