Horizon Europe Budget Development Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn all about building a budget for Horizon Europe proposals. The workshop introduces key budgetary principles of EU Research & Innovation projects. We will explain how budgeting in a standard Horizon Europe differs from budgeting in a lump sum project, and how to set up a good resource plan and budget. The workshop has a practical hands-on component, where participants learn how to calculate their costs. Agenda & course materials will be sent with registration.

Connexion Canada – Horizon Europe Digital & AI Matchmaking Event - May 21, 2025
is a virtual matchmaking and brokerage event designed to foster research and innovation collaboration between Canadian, Spanish, and other Horizon Europe partners under Cluster 4: Digital, Industry, and Space of Horizon Europe, the EU’s 95.5 € billion research and innovation program.
Organized by the Trade Commissioner Service of Canada in Spain, is open to innovators from Europe, Canada, and Horizon Europe associate countries who are exploring funding opportunities and potential partnerships in key technology domains.

Canada–Baltics Horizon Europe Networking Event - May 29, 2025
The Embassies of Canada in the Baltic States (Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia), in collaboration with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), as well as the National Contact Points (NCPs) from each participating country, are pleased to invite researchers, innovators, academic institutions, and organizations from both Canada and the Baltic region to participate in a virtual networking event.
This event aims to foster international partnerships and enhance cooperation opportunities under Horizon Europe Clusters 4 and 5, which focus on Digital, Industry and Space (Cluster 4) and Climate, Energy and Mobility (Cluster 5).

The organisers highly encourage you to present your project idea linked to a specific Horizon Europe call from WP 2025 and introduce your institution. The 2025 Work Programme has also been pre-published and you can find them here:
Participants planning to pitch will receive guidelines by email after May 15th, explaining how to prepare a short presentation (one-pager) and effectively pitch their idea during the event.
